Joe - 18mo

Joe is the squishiest little nugget. This kid gets so much love from everyone. He wants to do whatever his siblings are doing and is always asking for them. They do a good job of including him and looking after him. His personality is really starting to come out, and he can be really silly some times. He can also throw a really good tantrum and is starting to say "no". Recently he's become such a parrot and his talking is really taking off. He's starting to put words together and is able to communicate so much more. It was fun to see him get into all the Halloween decor and books. It wasn't until I packed it all away that he finally started saying "pumpkin" instead of "apple"! I can't wait to see his reactions to all things Christmas in a few weeks. He's starting to be more independent now that he can run around and has mastered going up and down the stairs. He is finding his love for books and will sit in the lap with anyone willing to read one with him. His love for his sloth lovey has only grown stronger, and I had to scour the internet for a look-a-like. Now I can swap them out and keep them from getting too stinky! He's getting better using utensils at mealtime. He's not really into breakfast, but loves a snack any time of day. Overall he's a good eater, but he still hates raspberries. He was off the charts, as expected, at his check-up and the doctor even suggested reducing his milk in take. He only gets one cup a day?! He's just a big boy and we all love having more to squeeze. This is my favorite age of all my kids. I just wish I could stop time!
