The trip started off well. The girls wanted to head to the pool our first day. The weather was a little cloudy and perfect for the kids. Tim spent some time splashing around too before taking a long nap. We spent the next day at Naples beach. The girls were pumped to swim in the ocean and Tim was a trooper. He enjoyed rolling around under the tent and playing in the sand. There was also a dolphin swimming close to shore that we watched for a while when eating our lunch. To mix things up, we trekked Tigertail Beach the next day on a shell hunt. It was crazy crowded, but was good exercise and something different to do. That evening, the vacation took a turn... It started with me and then was a domino effect. We think it was food poisoning because Tim managed to avoid it. It wiped us out for a whole day afterwards. We had one day left and rather than go to the beach, we opted to stay close to home and just do the pool. We were really disappointed we didn't make it to Marco beach this time. Feels like we never have enough time to squeeze in all that we want to do. Until next time!
