The kids loved swimming. We have such water babies! It was fun seeing Tim in some summer clothes and exposing his chunky legs. He was a trooper and is such an easy going baby. He did great at the beach and the pool. He got to dip his toes in the sand and seemed to really like it, but wasn't so sure about the cool ocean water. He was much happier floating around in the pool a little bit.
Maggie spent a lot of time with Carter. They seem to really get along. Carter kept sneaking away to sit with Timothy on the play mat. Hadley would rather be a big girl and follow Lily around. The kids seemed to play together better this time though which was nice. All the kids were pretty pumped to find out that Santa got Nama's letter and made a quick stop in Florida too! And we all wore some Christmas jammies for a nerdy photo shoot. It's crazy how much our family has expanded.
We toasted the New Year and I forced another craft on the kids. They sat still long enough to put together their clocks and blow some party horns. They also had fun with bubbly grape juice and sparklers that night too.
Hopefully it won't be too long before we can make it back to Florida. The time change was a little more challenging this time, but not as much of an issue as I had expected. It may be tougher as Tim gets on a more regular schedule. Maybe next time we'll be able to get to the Naples Zoo and some other attractions?!
