Pumpkin Patch
With next weekend cutting it too close to delivery day, I figured today would be the last chance for me to take the girls to a pumpkin patch. They remember going last year and were especially excited to see if there would be pony rides at this pumpkin patch too. Thank goodness this was the first weekend that all the attractions were open, phew. Of course, pony rides were first on their agenda and then they went on a couple different train rides. I was glad that they were able to go on their own and I could hang back and take pictures. It was a pretty hot day so they weren't as interested in running around, but we did take some loops around the patch because they had so many unique varieties of pumpkins to see! We picked 3 to bring home for them to carve with Adam some time. With so many late and away games, he's been gone a lot lately and has really been missing his girls. We wanted to leave a little fun for him too and the girls have a plan for each pumpkin. We got a tall, skinny funky one with a curly stem, a round squatty one covered in warty bumps and a smaller striped one. We painted little pumpkins this weekend too so it's officially fall at our house even if the weather refuses to cooperate!
