Today was the last day to collect their prizes for the Summer Reading Program at the library. So far, they've gotten passes to the Children's Museum and a coloring book and crayons. This afternoon they each got to pick a book too. We also timed it so we were there for a magician's show. I'm glad the local libraries offer a lot of free and fun shows and story times. It's a way to break up our day and get out of the heat. Plus my book-loving kids always like finding new stories! We were on the hunt for a book about hummingbirds today. The girls have been obsessed with all the hummingbirds that come to feed in our backyard!
