Polar Express

The girls and I had a great time on the Polar Express. We wore our cozy jammies and the girls both sported french braids. At the station, they got to meet Mrs. Claus and put a letter in Santa's mailbox. While waiting to board the train, they were excited to see the Hobo from the Polar Express movie walking along the track. After finding our seats, they girls chowed down on some dinner I had packed . Once we were on our way, they were treated to hot chocolate and cookies by the "chefs" and got their tickets punched. Then the chefs read the Polar Express story and we sang Christmas songs until we reached the North Pole where we saw Santa on his sleigh! All the kids were excited for Santa to board the train. Maggie was a little scared, but warmed up to him immediately after he gave her a bell from his sleigh.

I don't know that it's something we would do again, but the girls had fun and are still talking about it.
