Update

Nothing very exciting has been happening here, so there hasn't been much to post! Last weekend I took the girls on a little road trip to Chicago for my BFF Annette's baby shower. She's just 6 weeks ahead of me in her pregnancy. The girls did surprisingly well in the car for such a long time. It was a little tough trying to manage two kids and all our gear into the hotel, ugh. Thankfully they were so pooped out, I had them asleep by 6:45pm that night! I was glad because my back needed a rest after holding Maggie for the entire shower. She isn't very fond of strangers and clung to me for most of the party. Hadley had a great time enjoying yummy treats and running around with a few other girls her age. All in all the trip went well and wasn't a total failure, but I still prefer flying if I have the option!

Maggie is THIS close to hitting a major milestone and I don't think it will be too long before she takes her first steps. She's finally started scooting along the furniture and will even let go for a few seconds. Especially if it's to hold on to her sippy cup full of milk. I randomly started introducing her to milk the other day and she's loving it. Won't be long before all bottles and formula are out of our house (for a few months anyway).

Hadley is completely certain that there's a baby boy in my belly and she's even named him. We don't know where she came up with her name, but she's dead set on it so we're just rolling with it. As long as it's something nice, she can call her new brother or sister whatever she wants!

I had another ultrasound this past week. This time the baby's heartbeat was 132bpm and it was 135bpm at my doctor's appointment this morning. I'm feeling big and have been sick on and off the past couple weeks but otherwise have been feeling good. I wish the weather would cooperate so we could get outside and I could move around more.

Made it all the way there without any movies, but she was tired and zoned out on the way back!
Standing all by herself sipping on some milk.
If you're happy and you know it...
