Woo hoo - we're celebrating no accidents! It's been days since Hadley's last oopsie. We've even moved the diaper pail out of her room. Does this mean Hadley is officially potty trained?!
She's still wearing pull-ups when she sleeps, but gets to wear big girl panties during the day. She loves to pick out a new pair in the morning. She does a good job of telling me when she needs to go and she tells her teachers at school too. When we're out running errands, she conveniently needs to "go" in every single store. I think she just wants to check out the different bathrooms. If she's lucky, they'll have a hand dryer she can play under! She's not the best at pulling down her pants on her own so that's our next step. I think she's a little more independent at school than when she's at home, so hopefully she'll catch on soon. They've been great about reinforcing the potty training while she's there.
My goal was to have her potty trained before her 2nd birthday, so we just made it, phew! Such a big girl! She's very proud of herself and we are too. Won't be long before we're celebrating her birthday! First, Halloween...
POTTY MOUTH: When hanging out on the potty last week, I caught Hadley talking to herself and I didn't like what she had to say (but it's still pretty funny)! She repeats everything and this is a little something she learned from a friend. Hopefully she doesn't say it again!
