Last week Maggie had her two-week check-up and was almost back up to her birth weight at 9lbs 6oz. This was great news and means that breastfeeding is going well so far. I'm going to do my best to last as long as I did with Hadley, but we may supplement here and there this time around. Since then, Maggie's cord fell off her belly button and we're hoping the hernia will do down now. She goes back to the doctor again next week for her one-month check-up.
Hadley had her 18-month check-up today and weighed 31 lbs and was 34 in tall. Still a big girl! The doctor and nurses are always impressed by her vocabulary (and her cute outfits!). She cooperated and sat perfectly still while the doctor did his examination. I think the play doctor kit Maggie gave her at the hospital helped prepare her for the appointment. She barely even flinched when she got her shot!
My girls are getting so big so fast...
