Had an appointment earlier this week and my belly actually measured on track at 35 weeks rather than 2 weeks ahead. Doctor thinks this might mean I won't have as big a baby. Well, last time my doctor thought Haddie would be an average size baby at around 7.5 lbs and she ended up being almost 9lbs - so what do they know?! I'll just mentally prepare myself for the 10lb baby that may be in store!
I start going to weekly appointments now and will have one final ultrasound in a couple weeks to confirm the baby is head down and doing well. Haddie changed positions at the last minute and was transverse resulting in a c-section after 18 hours of labor... I'm hoping for a different experience this time and am still planning to attempt a natural delivery.
